Gift of Care

‘Twas Black Friday morning and I had my listgifts

Of the gifts I was seeking…you get the gist

When it comes to shopping for family and friends

I would give every effort…I would go to all ends


I shopped and I shopped, went to dozens of stores

‘til at last I could not go into even one more

My feet they were burning, my arms—they ached

I swear my low back was about to break


Both my knees throbbed as I dropped the last bags in the trunk

My Goodness! Did I really buy all this junk?

I wobbled to the car and plopped in the chair

Everything hurt- even my hair


“I did it !  I’m finished” I shouted with glee!

Just one thing more… I need some PT!!!

I know just where to go as all my friends tell…

The place for great care is LIVING WELL


It’s pleasant and peaceful like a breath of fresh air

But the real reason to go is for fabulous care

They assess you and listen to all your complaints

From a tired-eyed look of prolonged pain, to a smile of  hopeful relief. From a tense restrictive posture of discomfort, to amazement of newly acquired mobility without pain. From limpy walk or gimpy arm, to fluid gait and a triumphant wave. This is why I love to do what I do.

We all have challenges. We can learn from them. And, sometimes we get stuck in our stories and need help to move through them. We need encouragement.

  • persuasion to do or to continue something.
  • the act of trying to stimulate the development of an activity, state, or belief.
Skilled care and cutting edge techniques help relieve symptoms and promote healing, AND these efforts are enhanced by the clients doing some self-care. This is where the encouragement is helpful. I recently gave ideas for simple small steps of self-care to do every day to a client faced with the challenge of a great deal of inflammation. Including: sharing resources to improve nutrition- removing causative and adding healing foods; doing simple exercises spread throughout the day as to not aggravate the condition; drinking a tea( the client loves tea) with anti- inflammatory effects; adding music to the exercises (the client loves music) to inspire and uplift!
I love to share information and ideas. Good info and ideas with the intention of being helpful. Giving others hope and stimulating their ability to develop healing behaviors. Encouragement. Yes, this is one of my strengths.

Tricks to Treat You

The human body is an amazing creature. It’s healing potential is endless .  It responds to input. The trick is, what input will give you the desired output? All of our choices… food, activity, thinking, attitude, have a physical impact. Each choice is not immediately observable, but accumulation of choices manifest to outward signs. That may be vibrant glowing health, or physical ailments or diseases.

I’m attracted to leading edge innovative techniques that facilitate the body’s wisdom and promote efficient, effective outcomes.  I shared some of the tricks to treat flexibility limitations and thus positively impact posture. Posture is critical to an optimally functioning nervous system. I have more tricks in my tool box to treat your muscles, joints and fascia. Hands-on care combined with effective re-education exercises promotes movement that feels good. You deserve it.
